Ballet is just to tiring standing up... it's so funny, one minute she'll be dancing throughout the house and the next she's performing her moves on the floor.

 

 

Zookeeper Hayden

As I have mentioned before - Hayden loves animals, sometimes more than people I think. He is always drawing pictures of the Zoo and of various animals. He also loves to build zoos - complete with signs and info on each creature. Here are three of his latest zoos.

Cooking School 101

Almost every morning Ana wakes up and asks for cinnamon rolls for breakfast. And mostly, I just say "Not today." But the other day, was "Yes Day!" I tried to take the time to do all of the things that would normally be "not today" things. So cinnamon rolls were on the agenda - the kids were great helpers and of course busted out their chef attire for the occassion.

Ana and I busted out the finger paints today. I was truly impressed that all of the paint stayed on the paper and her hands - I was expecting atleast a little on her face - but she was a pro and surpassed my expectations. I love to spend time with Ana while Hayden's at school and Sophie's sleeping - it's the only time in her life that she's the "only child" and she just eats it up.

Ballerina Lessons

Ana started a dance class a couple of weeks ago and she is just in heaven. She calls it her "Ballerina Lessons" - and don't try to tell her that it is called anything different. Here she is on her first day with her good buddy Brinley, do you think she looks excited...

Ana loves to help me cook! But I think that most of her motivation is the tasting...

Mmmm... FHE Treats are the best!

The kids had a blast making their own sundaes for FHE last week - FYI don't let your kids use the whip cream dispenser without supervision - it's amazing how much comes out of that can in few seconds!
