The End of the "Year of Dates"...

For our January date, Rob and I went on a snowmobiling trip up in Vail. It was such a blast, probably one of the funnest dates we've had. Aren't our snowsuits super attractive?

Rob decided to take me down in 3 feet of powder while I thought we were having our picture taken. Nice, huh?...

It was a super fun trip up the mountain, the scenery was amazing! And at the top, there was a cabin where we warmed up by the fire with hot chocolate before heading back down to the "playground" where we got to ride around and go super fast over little jumps. After one trip around the playground with Rob driving, I decided to get off. There are some things that are worth dying for, that was not one of them for me. But I got my own turn driving too, and it was awesome...

So that wraps up our "year of dates" that I gave to Rob for Valentine's Day last year. I didn't document a few of the low key ones that we spent either at a restaurant or at home ;) , but they we're all so fun and so worth all the planning. All I can say now is, it's your turn Rob...

Finally, snow...

After months of a blissful winter (in my opinion) without snow, it finally came on New Years Eve. The kids were, of course, ecstatic. So, we (I mean Rob and the kids) headed out into the BITTER cold for some sledding...

Merry Christmas, from the Clarks...

Just some of the festivities that we enjoyed, see if you can pick them out:
Making cookies for Santa...
Christmas Eve Nativity with friends...
-Hayden as Samuel the Lamanite
-Ana as the Angel
-Sophie as a lamb
-Lamb kissing baby Jesus
-Roasting marshmallows
Kids asleep on Christmas Eve...
Sophie with her new babies from Santa...

We hope you all had a very Merry Christmas!!

Chocolate Reindeer...

Hayden found this cute idea in a magazine, it was so fun to make...

Ana never forgets to taste test the ingredients to make sure they are safe and edible for others...

They turned out super cute...

Let's play "Where's Waldo". Can you find Hayden's alien reindeer from Mars, and the Harry Potter reindeer?

Christmas Picnic...

We have had a super mild winter so far this year (until yesterday, it snowed), it was 50 degrees the whole week before Christmas. So we enjoyed some picnics on the deck while soaking up the rays that we all knew would be gone too soon.

Colorado weather is the best! (Yes, Hayden is wearing shorts in that picture!)
