Dog Days of Winter...

Hayden and Ana love Rob's parents dog, Roxy, almost as much as they love ice cream. Over Thanksgiving, many sweet moments were spent playing, chasing and lounging with Roxy... (Roxy is not supposed to be on the couch, but she sneaks up there whenever the kids are around...

 

 

 

Welcome Home Hermana Lammers...

My little sister, Lindsey, got home from her mission to San Antonio, Texas, on November 15th. So of course when she came out to Utah for Thanksgiving, we had to give her a proper welcome. We love you Linds!

Moments that have to be archived...

One evening we sent Hayden up to his room to change into his pajamas - a few minutes later we heard whimpering coming from upstairs. We ran upstairs to see what was going on. This is what we found...

 

Hayden had started to get undressed, fell into his chair and got stuck. So of course we had to run and get the camera.

Cute Cousins...

Rob's family came to visit and to go to the BYU vs. Air Force football game. It was the first time that Sophie and cousin Katelyn met each other - their birthdays are only 3 weeks apart. We got them matching outfits and had fun laughing at how chubby Sophie is compared to cute little Katelyn...

 

 

They already love each other - sweet kisses.

Thankful Tree 2

 

Our thankful tree appeared again this November - with new leaves (and the ones from last year) and lots more things that we're thankful for...

Family Pictures

At the beginning of October, our great friend Amy, took some family pictures of us in the beautiful autumn colors. I was trying to save them for our Christmas card - but they are just too cute. I'll save the family one for the card...

Cosmic Date!

A couple of weeks ago, Rob planned a date for us to go Cosmic mini-golfing - it was so fun! Sophie came along for the fun (mostly because she's still too young to leave with a sitter).

 

I didn't fare so hot - Rob is a much better golfer...

And then she hid under her blanket and slept... Ahhh overstimulation!

 

Finally... Halloween

So it was the night before Halloween and all through the house,
not a pumpkin was carved, not even one!
So we busted out our potato head faces and finished the job - lickety split!
The kids enjoyed this, I think, even more than carving!

And finally Halloween was here!! This is the kids getting ready to hit the doors... (by the way, it was 70 degrees on Halloween - Wahoo!!)

 

Sophie for McCain!

Rob somehow ended up with some tickets to a McCain rally that was here in Denver a couple of weeks ago. So we took Sophie to her first political event - she was so pumped...

 

 

It was actually pretty lame - a short speech and a bunch of fanatic supporters... But, John Elway was there (that was probably the real reason Rob wanted to go):)

Ana's Grandma "Nona" sent her the cutest ballet bag to carry her ballet shoes in. Needless to say, it goes everywhere with her...

Chubby Alert!

We've discovered that Sophie will sit in her Bumbo... if you take all her clothes off - I guess they're just too bulky. Little Stinker...

Pumpkin Heaven

We went back to the same pumpkin patch again this year. This time, Sophie got in on the action...

 

Hayden had a hard time choosing a pumpkin, who can blame him with all of those colors to choose from...

Indian Summer

October was the best month for weather! With most days averaging in the 60's and 70's, we had a wonderful time holding on to summertime activities.

One of my friends showed me how to make those super cute tights for baby girls called "Baby Legs" out of tube socks - so a couple of us had a crafty day and made some for our girls. Can you guess which one is Sophie?
