Have any of you seen that show on HGTV, where they start a project and get it done in a weekend? Well, Rob was gone on a business trip a couple weekends ago and the weather was awesome - I always feel like doing projects while he's gone for some reason - so I ripped out the front landscaping and redid it. There used to be these nasty bushes that had purple flowers on them in the summer and attracted every bee within a 5-mile radius - so it was out with them and in with a new retaining wall and smaller, bee-free bushes. It turned out great!

Hopefully, the bulbs we planted in the new flower bed will sprout in the spring - we'll see, it wasn't the best time to plant. But all in all, not bad for a weekend's worth of work.

Its good to know that someone else is married to an "austin" as well. Seriously where did our husbands come from and what were we thinking! I think they both think they are freshman in college again! : ) We need to get those boys together soon.
